County outlines paving, culvert work, riprap project and bridge schedule

For a neighborhood ditch line where seed and erosion controls were ineffective, staff said they would place riprap over approximately 3,400 feet and asked adjacent property owners to maintain vegetation spraying.
Why it matters: the projects include safety and drainage improvements and will affect travel and property adjacent to work zones. Staff said mowing crews take about six weeks to cycle the county's maintenance routes and that crews are handling storm cleanup following recent weather.
