The board opened a public hearing, received no public comment, and approved the ordinance on second reading. Commissioners moved and seconded the ordinance; the voice vote was unanimous.
County staff said the acquisition supports county efforts to expand employee housing and will be managed under airport enterprise fund procedures. The buyer (Pitkin County) will complete standard closing steps and any minor repairs through the county facilities team.
