Friends of the Truckee Library, JPA partners advance new regional library site and schematic design

April Cole, executive director of Friends of the Truckee Library, presented the library coalition’s progress at the Feb. 18 Good Morning Truckee event. The project is now part of a Truckee Library Joint Powers Authority (JPA) that includes the Town of Truckee, Nevada County and Placer County; the partners have been working on site selection, schematic design and early fundraising.
What the Friends reported - Partnership and design: The project team includes JKAE (local mountain architecture) and Group 4 (library design specialists).
