Fremont County commissioners approve multiple board and committee appointments
Summary
The Board approved several reappointments and new appointments to county boards and volunteer committees, including the Planning Commission, library districts, the 4‑H sales committee and others.
During the meeting the Fremont County Board of County Commissioners approved a slate of reappointments and new appointments to county advisory boards and special districts.
Reappointments approved by roll call included Travis Payne and Dale McCullough to the Fremont County Planning Commission (terms through Dec. 31, 2027) and Kevin Memaldi to the John C. Fremont Library District Board of Trustees (term through Dec. 31, 2029). The board appointed Tracy Brubaker to the 4‑H Sales Committee (term through Dec. 31, 2027) and Brandy Archer to the Penrose Community Library District Board of Trustees (term through Dec. 31, 2029). Commissioners noted applications and board recommendations were received for library district appointments.
All listed appointments and reappointments were moved, seconded and approved by roll call with Commissioners Bell, Grantham and McFall voting aye on each item. The board reminded the public that openings for volunteer committees are posted on the county website.
