He explained chief deputies are paid up to 90% of the elected official salary and would only receive increases if their corresponding elected official’s pay is raised.
Commissioner Pawlowski moved to adopt the staff recommendation; the motion was seconded by Commissioner Willis and passed unanimously. The action will be sent to the full board for final approval.
