The committee heard a presentation from Lori Moore, Senior Operations and Events Manager, who described Chrome in the Sand as a free community event with a car show, bike show and a paid boxing card. Moore said, “Chrome in the Sand is a free event. So if anybody wanted to attend, just come out and look at the cars, the car show, the bike show, it's all a free event. The only paid, would be if you go into the boxing.”
