Mapleton Planning Commission approves minutes and preliminary plats for Gobel and Maple Creek Farm subdivisions

The Mapleton Planning Commission approved the meeting minutes from Sept. 25 and approved preliminary plats for two residential subdivisions — the Gobel Subdivision (eight lots) and the Maple Creek Farm subdivision (four lots) — at its meeting (date not specified).

Staff member Jenny, presenting both plats, said the Gobel parcel is "approximately 3.75 acres in size" and includes an existing home that would remain on Lot 1. She said staff recommended approval with the conditions outlined in the staff report.

Commissioner Melanie made the motion to approve the preliminary plat for the Gobel Subdivision; the record shows the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote. A separate motion to approve the Maple Creek Farm preliminary plat was made and seconded and also carried by voice vote. The commission also voted to approve the planning commission meeting minutes from Sept. 25 by voice vote earlier in the meeting.
