Department staff said a one-year overlap will be provided so candidates who already registered for an older form may take it during the transition year. The commission adopted the replacements by motion from Commissioner Morgan, seconded by Commissioner Belknap, and the chair announced the motion carried.
Several other items discussed at the meeting (school psychology regulation consolidation, out-of-field reporting cleanup, endorsement removal/transition language, adaptive physical education pathway, and ARL pathway changes) were not voted on for final adoption; the commission directed staff to move those drafts to public workshops for stakeholder comment.
