Cass County Commission approves jail food contract, culverts, courtroom construction and mitigation plan; several votes recorded

At the meeting, the Cass County Commission approved several routine and construction-related actions, including a one-year increase to the jail food-service contract, highway budget adjustments to authorize additional box culvert purchases, courtroom construction contracts and an updated multi-hazard mitigation plan.

Food service contract: County jail leadership recommended a one-year renewal of the food-service contract with a requested 5% price increase.
