Coffey County commissioners approve routine motions on minutes, personnel and purchases

Separately, the county accepted a bid from Scottwood Industries for magnesium chloride at $1.26 per gallon for dust-control work.
Commissioners approved a $3,000 land purchase for one acre at 572 Emmer Road in Gridley to be used as the site for one of three planned radio communication towers; funds will come from the capital improvement reserve fund. The board also voted to enter a 15-minute executive session to discuss non-elected personnel medical matters under the Kansas Open Meetings Act (KSA 75-4319), including the board, county counsel and the Road & Bridge superintendent.
All motions called for voice votes and were announced as carrying by the chair.
