- Appointments to boards and commissions: The board approved several appointments and actions to advertise vacancies. Notable actions included the appointment of Cody Azale to the Social Services Board; nomination/appointment of Donnie Hawk to the rural transportation planning organization; and approvals to advertise upcoming ETJ planning-board vacancies and to accept applications for future appointment. - Contracts and multi-year services: The board authorized the county manager to negotiate and execute a multi-year agreement with Axon Enterprises (body-worn cameras, interview-room and devices) as presented; commissioners approved a multi-year contract with EagleView (aerial imagery) for oblique imagery flights in 2025 and 2029; both motions carried. Outcome: contracts authorized.
- Tax report and advertising unpaid taxes: The board accepted the county’s report on 2024 delinquent real-property taxes (report filed pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. § 105-362(8)) and approved advertising unpaid taxes to run March 1–31, 2025 (transcript recorded a vote approving the advertising period as presented). Outcome: accepted and authorized.
- Consent agenda: The consent agenda was approved as presented. Outcome: approved.
