Kenston PTO reports $38,000 fundraiser and 750+ members; council funds school programs and Spiritwear store

Shannon Holodinsky, vice president of the Kenston PTO council, reported to the board on Oct. 13 that the PTO has just over 750 members and raised more than $38,000 in a recent districtwide fundraiser.
Holodinsky said PTO membership dollars (about $13,000 reported) and the fundraiser support teacher grants, staff appreciation, family events, middle‑school academic awards, senior breakfast, STEM week, book fairs and other building programs. The PTO also operates a district spirit‑wear storefront, the Bomber Hanger, staffed and managed entirely by volunteers; proceeds are returned to the individual building PTOs.
The PTO asked only that the board note the organization’s activities and thanked administrators and staff for their support. Board members and administrators thanked PTO volunteers and leaders for the work and fundraising that support school programs.
