Officials said the work will require power washing and preparatory work and that a full sealing job could take multiple days; one staff member, Tanner, said, "it's gonna take some prep... probably gonna be 2 or 3 weekends," and recommended collecting both weekend and weekday price quotes before deciding on scheduling.

The discussion centered on minimizing disruption. One official asked whether to do the work during weekdays — inconveniencing employees — or on weekends — which could conflict with the Beaver farmers market. Staff noted the market typically runs Saturday mornings and often wraps by noon and suggested exploring temporary relocation options, including using nearby Beaver Borough park space or a school parking lot for some weekends.

County staff and officials discussed contract procurement and bid structure. The group agreed to request quotes that specify what the price would be for completing the work on weekends and what it would be on weekdays, and to include provisions for splitting the project into parts rather than closing the entire lot at once.
