Clayton County board approves consent agenda that includes two emergency resolutions, contract award and multiple appointments

The Clayton County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 7 adopted a revised agenda and approved a consent agenda that included two emergency resolutions, a professional services agreement recommendation and several board reappointments.

The board voted to amend the agenda to add two emergency resolutions: Resolution 2025‑10, which would allow municipalities that use the county’s public safety radio frequency to cite the county’s Federal Communications Commission license in applications to the Georgia Department of Public Safety for speed detection permit renewals; and Resolution 2025‑11, to authorize an easement to Georgia Power tied to construction work at Fire Station 1.
