The Lake Forest City Council on Dec. 17 unanimously selected its leadership for the 2025 calendar year and recognized outgoing Mayor Mark Tetimer for his 2024 service.
Council members nominated and confirmed (by voice vote) a sitting mayor pro tem to serve as mayor for 2025, and they nominated and confirmed a council member to serve as mayor pro tem. Council votes on both leadership positions were unanimous as recorded by the city's electronic voting system.
