Hamilton County Council approved a not-to-exceed $12.5 million general-obligation bond authorization and a series of ordinances, resolutions and budget adjustments during its Sept. 3 meeting.
Oscar Gutierrez, municipal adviser to the county, told the council the public hearing concerned issuance of bonds "that we typically do as to maintain the tax rate" and that the amount would be "not to exceed 12 and a half million dollars."
