The Revere City Council approved licensing and related permits needed for a waterfront development at 506 Revere Beach Boulevard, including a parking garage and on-site diesel storage for emergency generators.

City staff described the proposal as a waterfront project at Revere Beach Boulevard with 189 parking spaces proposed for the garage and storage of 1,200 gallons of diesel fuel to power emergency generators. Staff said the fire department and engineering reviewers examined the plans and found them to be in order.

The application identified parking layouts and the locations of fuel tanks. Staff said the submission complied with required review procedures and recommended affirmative approval.
