• Approval of minutes and monthly financial reports: The board approved the treasurer’s recommendations to accept the minutes and the monthly financial statements. The motion passed on a roll call vote with the five trustees present voting yes.
• Superintendent recommendations (personnel, employment resolutions, donations): The board approved the superintendent’s personnel items, employment resolutions and donations by roll call vote.
• Executive session: The board voted to enter executive session under Ohio Revised Code Section 121.22 to consider the appointment, dismissal, discipline, promotion, demotion or compensation of a public employee or official. The motion carried on roll call; the board said the only action to be taken upon return would be to adjourn.
• Adjournment: After executive session the board reconvened and adjourned by unanimous roll call.
Ending: All procedural motions presented on Oct. 20 were approved by roll call; no policy adoptions or ordinances were passed beyond the routine approvals and the executive session voted on during the meeting.
