The council adopted Resolution No. 27,41 to augment the 2024–25 budget. Justin O’Brien, budget manager for North Las Vegas, described the augmentation as a regular compliance filing required by state law and said it is driven largely by grants and capital project rollovers. "What is a budget augmentation? Budget augmentation is something, that we present to council every year as required by NRS," O’Brien said.
