The Macomb Township Board of Trustees on Oct. 8 voted on a slate of items ranging from special assessment districts to personnel hires and a court consent judgment.
The board adopted resolutions creating street-lighting special assessment districts (SADs) for Deerbrook Site Condominiums Phase 2 and Wolverine Country Club Estates 2 (site condominium phases 6, 7 and 8). Clerk Christy Posey called the roll for the Deerbrook resolution; all members present voted yes. The Wolverine Country Club Estates 2 resolution passed on a similar roll call vote.
The board also approved the rezoning of parcels 0825376005 and 0825476005 (northwest corner of 21 Mile Road and Fairchild Road) after discussion and a planning commission recommendation, and rescinded section 10.0349 (special events) from the zoning ordinance to avoid duplication…
