Jefferson County Commission adopts 2025 zoning resolution to guide 10-year growth, amid one public objection

The Jefferson County Commission on Wednesday adopted a rewritten 2025 zoning resolution intended as a 10-year framework for land use, economic development and workforce housing across the county.

County planning staff presented the measure as an implementation tool for the Forward Together comprehensive plan, which the county adopted earlier this month.
