The commission opened its Oct. 30 meeting by approving the Sept. 24 meeting minutes and accepting a verbal financial report for the first quarter of the fiscal year.
Staff presented financial highlights: revenue was roughly 46% year-to-date because the fourth-quarter contributions from Boyle County and Danville were recorded in the first quarter; excluding that timing item, revenue would be 26% against a 25% budget benchmark. Construction review fees continue to run strong. Staff told commissioners that Bluegrass advertising charges (about $53,000 for the comp plan and director services) had been cashed by the vendor and would appear in the next month’s expenditures; staff also confirmed the annual audit has begun.
Commissioners moved to accept the verbal financial report and approved the minutes by voice vote. Staff noted it will present a full written financial statement in the next meeting packet.
