Funding for the project will come from interest earned on ARPA (American Rescue Plan Act) funds the city has held in the state investment pool; staff emphasized the work will not draw on municipal gross receipts tax operating funds. Commissioner Jones moved approval; Commissioner Tarson seconded. The vote was unanimous.
Staff will coordinate construction to minimize course disruption and will report on schedule and contractor mobilization.
