County approves perpetual utility easement to Seeco Electric for Bridal Service Center

Marion County commissioners unanimously approved July 15 a revised easement granting Seeco Electric a perpetual utility easement to provide electrical service to a county bridal service center.
County staff said after the agenda publication the easement language was revised to reduce restrictions on the site so the county could keep flexibility to cross the easement with driveways, walking paths or similar improvements. The county attorney and staff recommended approval of the revised document. Commissioner MacLean moved to approve the revised easement; Commissioner Stone seconded and the motion passed without opposition.
What the board approved: A perpetual easement for Seeco Electric to install and maintain lines to serve the bridal service center. Staff explained the revision made the easement less restrictive while preserving utility access.
