Catherine Ashman of Bay County Code Enforcement told the magistrate the case had been heard May 15, 2025, and that a reinspection on May 27 found the property still in violation. The magistrate's earlier order had given the respondent 10 days to comply; fines were imposed beginning May 26. Code enforcement posted hearing notices and later reported that a June 9 inspection found the property in compliance.
Magistrate Serto accepted the recommendation to impose the initial and daily fines and recorded the finding that the respondent is now in compliance. The magistrate also noted that, once recorded, any assessed costs may constitute a lien against the property under the Uniform Assessment Collection Act (Bay County Code chapter 21).
