The budget ordinance for 2025-26 was approved during the meeting; county staff also presented and the board approved related budget amendments, and actions on tax rebates, releases and refunds as listed in the county manager’s report. The board approved a request from Harnett County Economic Development to pursue a countywide EPA Brownfields assessment grant of $500,000 in partnership with Terracon.
