Commission to review 134 Arline Street case next month after owner reports near-complete cleanup

The Borger Building Standards Commission on Oct. 2 agreed to review a continued code-enforcement matter for 134 Arline Street at its next meeting after hearing from the property owner and staff. Commissioners voted unanimously to bring the item back for review.
The owner said the property is “almost done” and offered new photos to document progress. Staff asked whether inoperable vehicles outside the fence would be removed; the owner said one vehicle runs and another towing plan “fell through” but she expected to complete the work and asked that the item be removed from next month’s agenda.
Staff asked the owner to address the vehicles outside the fence and to have them removed if possible so staff could recommend removing the item from the agenda on review. No fines, towing orders, or enforcement deadlines were announced during the discussion; the commission simply scheduled review at the next regular meeting.
