The property owner said cleanup work is underway but not yet finished. “I’m doing it as fast as I can. I work 6 days a week. I’m a single mother. I’m getting out there as quick as possible,” she told the commission, adding she hoped to finish “within a month.” Staff reported the city transfer station had removed bulk refuse from the property multiple times.
Staff recommended tabling the case to allow more time for the owner to complete the cleanup and for staff to verify progress. Commissioners who spoke noted visible progress and supported the recommendation to review the property again at the next meeting.
No fines, deadlines, or enforcement dates were announced during the discussion. The commission did not specify a follow-up report deadline beyond revisiting the item at its next regular meeting.
