During the Oct. 29, 2025, meeting the Amherst Zoning Board of Appeals handled several procedural motions at the end of its public session.

The board voted to enter deliberative session to consider two variance applications (motion by Jeffrey, seconded by Noble). The roll call recorded five members voting yes (Anderson, Jeffries, Noble, Tomaszewski and Balaji). The public transcript does not include the board's final decisions reached in deliberation.

The board approved the minutes of its Sept. 24, 2025 meeting on a motion by Mr. Balaji, seconded by Mr. Jeffries; the motion carried on a voice vote. After discussing scheduling conflicts the board voted (motion by Thomas Chesky, seconded by Mr. Jeffries) to move the November meeting to Nov. 19 and the December meeting to Dec. 17; the motion carried on a voice vote. Finally the board approved a motion to adjourn (motion by Mr. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Jeffries).
