WASHINGTON COUNTY, Texas — Below are the votes and formal actions taken by the Washington County Commissioners Court during its Oct. 28, 2025 special session. Where the transcript did not record a roll‑call tally, the outcome is recorded as the meeting reported it.
• Proclamation: Proclaim October 2025 Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) Awareness Month for Washington County. Outcome: approved by voice vote after motion and second; public speaker (family member) thanked the court.
• Resolution: Adopt the Washington County Hazard Mitigation Plan as the official mitigation plan for Washington County (required step for FEMA approval). Outcome: approved by voice vote; staff to collect adoption resolutions from City of Brenham, City of Burton and Blinn College for FEMA submission.
