The Facilities Committee on Oct. 28 reviewed a $3,650 change order for additional curbing and about 15 feet of sidewalk at Mill Hall that was omitted from the public bid documents.

Sam said five companies submitted bids but only one attended the pre-bid. That company submitted a supplementary quote to add curbing between two ADA sections; the supplementary amount of $3,650 leaves the bidder as the low proposer, staff said. The committee was told the district has sufficient budget remaining for concrete work this year (committee members referenced roughly $100,000 available after prior Middle School work).

The committee signaled no objection to proceeding; staff said the work must start promptly to be completed before year-end.
