The council considered reappointments to the Historic Preservation Board as a consent agenda item. Staff reported that regular members Ross Foster, William Gatens, Alan Kiesel, Joseph Adams and alternate Eula Rupp Crofton had requested reappointment to two‑year terms expiring Oct. 31, 2027, and that no other applications were on file.

Two public commenters spoke in support of the incumbents and detailed the board’s work on guidelines and tours. Council moved and seconded the reappointments and voted unanimously to reappoint the four regular members and one alternate.

Ending: Appointees will serve two‑year terms to Oct. 31, 2027; standard board operations and outreach will continue under the existing membership.
