Hearing on Powell Lane appeal continued to Dec. 9 after appellant reports audio issues

An appeal hearing for a notice of violation at 201 West Powell Lane was continued to the Building and Standards Commission’s Dec. 9, 2025 meeting after the appellant told the commission he could not hear testimony and said there were inaccuracies he needed to address.

Appellant Frank Seliger told the commission he had not been able to hear the presentations and requested a continuance so he could review the violations and provide a response. The commission moved to continue the case to Dec. 9; the motion carried on a unanimous roll‑call vote.

The continuance allows the appellant to prepare and to present testimony and evidence at the next scheduled hearing. The commission noted standard procedures around reopening the case for testimony at that time.
