At the Oct. 16 meeting the board approved the consent agenda (personnel and financial statements), accepted a Kimball Grama piano donation valued at approximately $10,000 for O'Neil Middle School, and designated several items (poster machine, sound-system components, desk, steam-table cabinet) as surplus.

Board members moved and seconded each item and approved them by roll-call vote. Trustees thanked the donors and staff; the superintendent and music staff will arrange placement and any district-wide access to the instrument. Surplus items will be disposed of in accordance with district policy.

These items were approved as part of routine business; the administration said it would notify the public of surplus disposition per standard procedures.
