Highlights
- Resolutions 203–205: Budget amendments for snowmobile trails and county traffic control, and the procurement record were approved; a drafting typo in Resolution 205 was corrected before the vote.
- Resolution 204: Authorized the county executive to sign a uniform-services contract with Syntas Corporation; one legislator asked that the county consistently include the bid-results attachment with future contract items.
- Resolution 206: Authorized the county executive to contract with Peterson Incorporated for engineering services for County Road 31 (Switzer Hill Road); funding source was adjusted to professional services.
- Resolutions 214–235 and others: A variety of personnel reclassifications, grant acceptances, a successor agreement for Fulton-Montgomery Community College educational support personnel, settlement approvals in opioid litigation, acceptance of grant carryovers, and adjustments to public health and social services budgets were approved, mostly by voice vote with no extended discussion.
- Add-on resolution (social services attorneys): The Legislature approved an add-on amendment to establish additional social services attorneys and eliminate the supervising social services attorney position after explanation by Commissioner Beck; the amendment described hiring more senior-level attorneys after a candidate declined to accept the earlier offer.
