Madison County adds subdivision streets to county-maintained network

Madison County Fiscal Court voted Oct. 28 to adopt seven streets in the Doves Landing subdivision into the county-maintained road system under Resolution 2025-105.
The adopted road segments are Olive Branch Drive (1,932 ft by 20 ft), Silas Way (288 ft), Lily Court (336 ft), Racker/Riker Court (364 ft), Purity Way (452 ft), Divine Drive (740 ft) and Bentley Way (540 ft). The county road supervisor inspected the streets and recommended adoption. The resolution directs county staff and the judge executive or designee to execute necessary documentation to add the roads to the county maintenance list. A typographical correction to "Riker Court" was noted and will be corrected before final paperwork.
Magistrates approved the resolution by roll call; court members thanked the road supervisor and staff for their work in inspection and documentation. The adopted streets will be maintained by the county beginning on the date the paperwork is recorded.
