One remaining safety compliance officer will move into the vacant coordinator role at roughly the same rate of pay as the departing employee, resulting in a net loss of two positions overall, the administration said.
Board members asked whether the new assignment represented a pay increase. The administration responded the coordinator role and the vacated position are roughly the same salary; the net personnel change reflects prior reductions. The board then approved the personnel items by roll call. Recorded votes for the personnel package were: Doctor Ballard Yes; Mister Sturgill Yes; Mister Ferguson Yes; Missus Washington No; Missus Nazario Yes.
