Kandiyohi County on Aug. 19 introduced Lisa Weese as the county’s incoming auditor–treasurer. Administrator Kelsey Baker said Weese has served seven years at the county as an HR generalist and will start full time in the auditor–treasurer role on Sept. 15.
Lisa Weese told the board she holds an accounting degree from the College of St. Benedict and described prior positions in public accounting, banking and healthcare accounting; she said she is completing training ahead of her start date and will work with the CFO and staff to ensure a smooth transition.
Commissioners congratulated Weese and invited her to introduce herself to the public in the boardroom. Baker said the county will advertise to fill the HR generalist vacancy created by the promotion.
