Val Savore, Kandiyohi County assessor, said the house at 220 High Avenue Northeast (parcel ID 957301010) suffered more than 50 percent damage and is currently to the bare studs. Because the damage occurred after the October tax date, Savore said the abatement covers the two full months of November and December 2024 and that the assessor's office will reassess the property in the fall based on completed work as of Jan. 2.
Commissioner Berg moved and a second was made; the board approved the abatement by voice vote. No roll-call tally is recorded in the transcript.
