The Carbondale City Council unanimously approved its consent agenda, which included meeting minutes, warrants, appointments and several contract items.
Items listed by staff included: approval of city council meeting minutes from Oct. 14, 2025; approval of FY26 warrant number 1522 in the total amount of $2,670,669.48; approval of a Wells Fargo warrant for the period ending Sept. 30, 2025 (Warrant #092025) in the amount of $172,361.26; appointments and reappointments to boards and commissions; an engineering agreement with TWM Incorporated of Swansea, Ill., for $58,251 to design Phase 2 of the Northwest Bike Trail (New Era Road to East Airport Road); and a budget adjustment and award to Southern Illinois Piping Contractors of Carbondale for purchase and installation of a new rooftop HVAC unit (RTU) at the police department for $124,550.
Council member Gilman moved to approve the consent agenda; Council member Roberts seconded. The roll call was unanimously in favor and the motion passed.
