Pembroke's superintendent and the committee reviewed a full strategic-plan survey template at the Oct. 7 meeting and approved distribution following the conclusion of scheduled focus groups.
The superintendent said the full packet contains every question in the consultant template but that the live link will filter questions by stakeholder group. The district plans to distribute the survey on Oct. 9 through email lists, QR codes posted at public venues (library, town meeting), and school communications; the consultants will review initial responses on Oct. 22 and determine whether to extend outreach. "It is anonymous," the superintendent told the committee, and confirmed the survey will run through SurveyMonkey; translations will be arranged through the district's ELL staff.
The meeting also discussed making the survey available to upper elementary students by coordinating with building administrators, and conducting student focus groups at the middle and high schools. The student representative said the district will include the survey in morning announcements and posters for students.
Ending: The committee approved the survey by motion (voice vote recorded as unanimous 4–0); administration will publish the link and coordinate translation and QR-code outreach immediately following the focus groups.
