Council consents to Wellsville annexation that will create small unincorporated peninsula

The Cache County Council voted Oct. 28 to consent to a Wellsville City annexation of a 45.76-acre parcel west of Wellsville, a move that staff said will create a small unincorporated peninsula that the council was required to consider under state annexation law.

The annexation would also transfer a county-maintained road frontage to the city.
