Youth facility expansion complete; Ways & Means approves interim operations agreement

Public improvements director Chad reported the youth facility expansion is complete, contractors have finished punch‑list items, and the county received a certificate of occupancy. "The contractors have moved out and we've got our certificate of occupancy," Chad said.
Chad said the next operational steps were completed: moving youth into the new area and completing work on the old area. The committee approved the annual interim agreement for operation of the youth facility by voice vote.
Staff said they will continue smaller preventive maintenance projects budgeted for 2025 and requested commissioners review capital needs in future budget discussions.
