Councilmember Saad moved to amend the ordinance to correct a numerical error in section 1 (the corrected amount shown in the amendment was $30,600). The motion to amend was seconded by Councilmember Marcelino and passed on roll call. Saad then moved to adopt the amended ordinance; Marcelino seconded the motion and the amended ordinance passed on a unanimous roll call vote.
Council discussion noted the programming increases would generate additional revenue to offset higher expenses and that the changes were transparent in the ordinance language shared prior to the meeting.
