The Portage County Budget Commission on Oct. 28 adopted Resolution 25-74, approving a set of small fund increases and line-item transfers for the Portage County Health Department.
According to the resolution as read into the record, the commission approved an increase to fund 8900 in the amount of $3,000 and an increase to fund 8901 in the amount of $2,000. The resolution also authorized a line-item transfer in fund 8902 of $1,176; a line-item transfer in fund 8903 of $3,528; a line-item transfer in fund 8904 of $1,176; a line-item transfer in fund 8906 of $1,176; and a line-item transfer in fund 8907 of $3,528. In addition, the commission approved an increase in fund 8916 of $20,000 and an increase in fund 8923 of $10,000.
A motion to approve the resolution was moved and seconded; the commission recorded a voice vote of “Aye,” and the motion carried. The chair then asked the treasurer, Commissioner Joe Crawford and Prosecutor Lewandowski if they had any comments; each declined to add remarks. The meeting adjourned after a brief reminder to vote on the upcoming election.
