Committee discusses branding, approves small recognition for retiring official and supports community event marketing

Members preferred a small, dignified plaque and asked staff to order the item and confirm the presentation timing (the retiring officer’s last council meeting was cited for a possible ceremonial recognition).
The committee also voted to assist the Zonta Club with promotional support for a human-trafficking awareness event planned for December 2 by requesting Communications post event information to town social channels. That motion passed by voice vote.
No formal motion was taken on the committee’s branding at this meeting; designers and examples will be presented to the committee for consideration at a future date.
