Cibolo City officials announced progress and schedules for several local street projects, including daytime closures in the Saratoga neighborhood for resurfacing.
Mayor Mark Allen said City Manager Wayne Reed provided the update, reporting that Saratoga neighborhood residential streets are being resurfaced and that flyers were distributed to affected residents. "The resurfacing will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.," Allen said, adding the project is ongoing.
Allen said Deer Creek Boulevard is about 95% complete. He said Silver Wing is under construction with a projected completion date of Oct. 30, 2025, and that Town Creek Road is under construction with a projected completion date of Dec. 9, 2025. He said work on a project called Firebird Run will start Jan. 5, 2026.
The mayor relayed these dates as schedule information provided by City Manager Wayne Reed; the meeting record did not include a staff motion, vote tally or further budget details.
Residents in the Saratoga neighborhood were told to expect street closures between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. while resurfacing work proceeds. No lane‑closure maps, contractor names or funding sources were provided in the meeting transcript.
The council did not take a formal vote on the projects during this meeting; the items were reported as updates.
