Miss Seager, a city staff member, said the contract is identical to prior years with an added hourly fee for matters that are not city related, such as representation in Jackson County appeals; the rest of the contract continues with the agreed 2% annual increase. Ross C. Nigro Jr. appeared by video and declined to add further comment beyond expressing appreciation for the opportunity to continue serving the city.
Alderman Mims moved to approve; the motion was seconded and the board approved the resolution by roll-call vote. Mayor publicly thanked Nigro for his years of service to Raytown.
