The City of Sterling Heights has rolled out a new online residential service request portal called Snapshot that lets residents report missed trash pickups, cart problems, recycling, yard waste and bulk pickup issues directly to Priority Waste.
"When it comes to trash talk, we're keeping it clean with a new way to report your issues," said Marissa Russo, presenter. City materials said the portal connects residents to Priority Waste for faster service and resolution and is accessible by visiting prioritywaste.com and selecting the Sterling Heights portal or using the refuse collection link on the city website.
City officials said the system is an "easy to use online system" intended to streamline communication and speed problem resolution between residents and the contractor. The announcement did not specify a launch date beyond stating the portal has been rolled out, nor did it provide details on hours, expected response times, or any changes to existing billing or collection schedules.
Residents seeking to report a missed pickup, cart issue or other refuse concern were directed to prioritywaste.com or the city website. The city did not provide additional operational or contractual details in the announcement.
