The representative said juvenile‑facility foundations have been dug and graded and that work will proceed with footing pours as soon as weather permits. The 911 building has walls up and is expected to receive roof trusses the following week. Two agricultural buildings were reported to be under roof and on track for December completion.
School vestibule projects returned higher than anticipated prices; the representative said Sheffield Central and Thomas (Cherryville Central referenced elsewhere) will be deferred to a future budget year. "Thomas is gonna require a new front entrance also, which was not in our preliminary numbers," the owner's representative said, noting that Liberty also requires additional exterior work.
The representative said the farm building project had a grinder pump installed and that final drawings would be provided once federal approvals and funding processes allow connections. No formal funding decisions were made at the meeting; staff indicated some items will return for funding amendments.
